Should we actually be concerned that Steven Soderbergh doesn’t know what retirement means? Because he is the busiest. Deadline reports that Soderbergh has signed on to produce a series for Cinemax. The Knick will be set in 1900 New York at the Knickerbocker Hospital. The show has been given a ten-episode commitment. Clive Owen is in talks to star and Soderbergh intends to direct every episode. At this rate, we’re super excited for Soderbergh’s retirement, as it looks like it will be the most productive period of his career.
