Anne Hathaway to Play a 1910s Murderer

Anne Hathaway==National Board of Review Awards Gala==Cipriani 42nd. St., New York==January 8, 2013.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that Anne Hathaway has signed on to star in and produce The Lifeboat, an adaptation of Charlotte Rogan's novel of the same name. Hathaway will play a woman on trial for murder in 1914. During which she tells the story of how she survived the sinking of a fancy ocean liner. See, she ends up on a lifeboat that has too many people, meaning some folks got to go. Not sure if this makes her the Life of Pi boy or tiger. Which one got a super-short haircut to be in an Oscar-nominated movie? The tiger?
