The Hillary Clinton biopic Rodham is mulling Carey Mulligan — Great Gatsby and Drive actress, Marcus Mumford spouse — as its lead. According to THR, Mulligan is the top choice for the film’s producers. “Several American actresses’ names have been bandied about to take on the widely admired but often polarizing figure, including Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Chastain and Emma Stone.” And now watch it go to the Brit. James Ponsoldt (The Spectacular Now, Smashed) is set to direct. The plot will take place in Clinton’s early years.
