Showtime announced today that this current third season of The Borgias will be the show’s last. Oh no, cried fans of Jeremy Irons and Pope dramas. We want more Pope dramas, they begged. Tough nuggies, said Showtime. It was fun while it lasted, but it turns out not that many people are super invested in the power struggles between fifteenth-century archbishops.
