Paramount Wants a World War Z Sequel


Given the bad press that preceded World War Z, it didn't seem like the venture would even spend much time in the theaters, let alone lead to a second movie. But after a surprisingly strong opening weekend, Paramount is ready to "actively ... turn to developing a sequel," studio vice chairman Rob Moore told The Hollywood Reporter. Brad Pitt has already been talking about how much more material there is in the Max Brooks novel, so World War Whatever Comes After Z now looks like a no-brainer.
