The secretly delightful Sex and the City prequel The Carrie Diaries will be introducing Samantha this coming season, and now the CW has released the first photo of Lindsey Gort as the young Ms. Jones. (So far, there have been plenty of callbacks to SATC, but not any other character overlap.) In the original series, Samantha’s older than the other three women, but here, Gort does not look that much older than AnnaSophia Robb. More spandex-inclined, sure. More like Drew Barrymore in that SNL eighties workout video, yes. But not much older, really.
