The Butler Is Allowed to Be Called Lee Daniels’ The Butler

In the strange case known as "Warner Bros. says the Weinstein Company's The Butler can't be called The Butler because a short comedy film from 100 years ago was called The Butler," the MPAA has decided "that its original ruling in the case went too far." So it will most likely end up being titled Lee Daniels' The Butler, and the words Lee Daniels will have to be at least 75 percent as prominent as The Butler. Hollywood: You're crazy. Everyone else: Just resume calling it The Butler, it's fine.
