Spike Lee’s Oldboy Delayed

Sliding a film's release date isn't always great news, but it might not be the worst thing for Spike Lee's remake of Park Chan-wook's Oldboy. Originally slated for the Halloween-y date of Oct. 25, the film's been pushed to Nov. 27, the night before Thanksgiving. Now Oldboy will bow alongside potential Oscar bait like Mandela, Grace of Monaco, and Out of the Furnace rather than the slew of late October horror schlock Lee might not want to be compared to.
