Yesterday, we showed you a particularly enticing photo from Shia LaBeouf’s chapter of Lars Von Trier’s Nymphomaniac. Now here is the first clip from that section. In it, LaBeouf plays Jerôme, a British-accented fellow who shows Stacy Martin (who plays Charlotte Gainsbourg’s character Joe when she’s younger) around an office and onto an elevator. We’re not certain what happens next, but considering Von Trier’s description of the chapter (“Though love is a shallow feeling in the eyes of the cynical nymphomaniac, young Joe is met by forces penetrating her armoured defences. His name is Jerôme.”), we have some guesses.
