On Friday night, Calvin Harris (of the “We Found Love” fame) became the latest performer to fight back against a heckler — though unlike fellow bad audience–victims Dave Chappelle and Fiona Apple, he did not walk offstage. In a cell-phone video uploaded to YouTube (and first noticed by HuffPo), the British DJ can be seen and heard responding to a female fan who called him a “sellout” and told him to “play something original” at a Miami show. Unfortunately, he went about it in an unnecessarily foul-mouthed way. After informing the woman that he’d just played “something original” in that he’d played a song “that was originally written by me,” he shouted, “Why do you come to a fucking Calvin Harris show where Calvin Harris is DJing and don’t want to hear a fucking Calvin Harris record, you dumb fucking bitch.” “This girl needs to be removed from the club,” he added, before somewhat ironically launching into “Feel So Close.”
