Some big Sundance films have already hit theaters to much acclaim: Fruitvale Station and In a World … to name a couple. Another standout, Blue Caprice, is poised to do the same. The debut of French writer-director Alexandre Moors tells the story of the Beltway Snipers, who in the fall of 2002 murdered ten and injured three in the D.C. metropolitan area. The film received raves coming out of the festival, especially for the performances of its leads, Isaiah Washington and Tequan Richmond. The film opens in theaters on September 13 and will probably make you nervous to go out in public for a little while.
