AMC is developing a “companion” show to The Walking Dead, the network announced today. TWD’s Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, and David Alpert will executive produce the spinoff. It’s not clear yet exactly what this show will entail. TWD is the easiest possible show to spin off because its characters don’t actually matter. All that matters is the zombie stuff! The current main characters on the show are virtually impossible to care about (especially Carl), but all the zombie rawr-rawr killing parts are still cool most of the time.
