Replacing Faith Hill and P!nk before her, Carrie Underwood stepped up to the plate (or, more accurately, rushed the end zone) to claim the “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” Sunday Night Football theme song as her own. Debuting before the big Giants versus Cowboys opener, Underwood’s anthem is complete with lines including, “All right, Sunday Night, where are you? / Waiting for the game that bleeds red, white and blue.” Can’t say it doesn’t suit her. Go team Underwood!
