In Elysium, Jodie Foster plays a ruthless, bloodthirsty bureaucrat who'll stop at nothing to get what she wants. Perhaps she'll channel some of that dark energy into her latest gig: Vulture has learned that Foster will direct a season two episode of Netflix's political thriller House of Cards. While the streaming service declined to comment, our sources say Foster is already on location in Baltimore, where the Emmy-nominated drama films. Foster is quickly becoming a directorial staple at Netflix: The actress helmed "Lesbian Request Denied," the third episode of Orange Is the New Black. For those keeping track of Foster's directing career, 2013 marks the 25th anniversary of "Do Not Open This Box," the 1988 episode of HBO's Tales From the Darkside on which Foster made her directorial debut.
