Ken Jeong’s New Job Is Based on His Old Job

Before he stole our hearts as the naked Mr. Chow in the Hangover franchise, Ken Jeong was a licensed doctor in California. That tidbit just became the premise for multi-camera sitcom Dr. Ken, which Deadline reports will be based on Jeong’s life before the glamorous world of comedy came calling. The Community star will co-executive produce alongside Sony Pictures TV, John Davis, and John Fox’s Davis Entertainment. Jared Stern (of The Internship) is writing the script and will also executive produce.
