A story about an American media mogul and the corruption surrounding his super elite life just wouldn’t sound complete without the likes of Brendan Gleeson and Nathan Lane. While Gleeson had previously signed on to the pilot of The Money, HBO announced Wednesday that Lane has joined the cast as Gordon McCarren, “a reporter for VistaCorp’s New York Herald whose job hangs by a thread [when he desperately garners] evidence to support a hot scoop.” Considering the drama comes from NYPD Blue, Deadwood, and Luck creator David Milch, you’d be right to expect plenty of intrigue, and no horses.
