Just ten years ago, Big Boi and André 3000 (better known then as Outkast) released two lead singles off of their double album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. One of them was called “Hey Ya!” and, boy, did America love it. “Lend me some sugar, I am your neighbor!” we all hollered at happy hours, weddings, bar mitzvahs (and probably even a few really upbeat funerals), And now we can look back, with ten more years of life under our belts, and realize what a fantastic song “Hey Ya!” really was.
