The First-Ever Woodstock Comedy Festival Is Happening Next Week

Woodstock, NY, is getting its first-ever comedy festival, with a lot of big names set to play the event. Bobcat Goldthwait, Dick Cavett, CollegeHumor’s Jake & Amir, the UCB TourCo, and more are all playing Woodstock Comedy Festival, which is taking place from September 20-22. The fest will also include screenings of the Improv Everywhere documentary We Cause Scenes and Goldthwait’s new movie Willow Creek. The event is being produced by Josh Ruben (CollegeHumor, UCB) and a 75 year old former child psychology professor named Chris Collins, both Woodstock natives, with all proceeds from the non-profit festival going towards two charities: one combatting human trafficking and another for domestic violence prevention in Woodstock.
