Tina Fey will host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live on September 28, NBC announced today, and Arcade Fire will be the musical guest. This is Fey’s fourth time hosting — she first hosted in 2008, and then again in 2010 and 2011 — and it’s also a return engagement for Arcade Fire: They’ve been the musical guest twice before, or three times if you count the time they played with Mick Jagger on the 2012 season finale. The following week, Miley Cyrus will be both host and musical guest (she previously hosted in 2011), and then on October 12, there’s Bruce Willis and Katy Perry. The last time Willis hosted, it was 1989: Katy Perry was 5, Miley was not born yet, and the episode included both “Wayne’s World” and “Sprockets” sketches. Time flies.
