FX’s Fargo miniseries continues to add to its intriguing cast. The network announced today that Bob Odenkirk will be joining Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Colin Hanks, Kate Walsh, Oliver Platt, and Glenn Howerton (among others) in the new spin on the Fargo universe — a new crime, and new characters, but in the same surroundings. Odenkirk will play a senior deputy who has a younger, more-capable partner. Production on Fargo starts in November, which means this wouldn’t conflict with Odenkirk’s (not yet official) involvement with Better Call Saul, since that show’s possible production is still a long way off.
