To recap: Kendrick called people out on "Control" and everyone lost their minds. Then Drake kinda sideswiped him — not in an actual verse, but at an NYU talk with Elliott Wilson. ("Kendrick’s verse was a moment. It was really cool for a couple weeks. But are you listening to it now? How does that verse start?" Also, from Billboard: "I know good and well that Kendrick's not murdering me, at all, in any platform.") Kendrick did not appreciate those quotes, apparently, and so now here's a Drake dis from his upcoming BET Awards Cypher: "And nothing's been the same since they dropped 'Control' / And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes / Ha-ha, joke's on you." Drake actually mostly wears tank tops now? But okay, yes, beef.
