After a successful bit as Jess's boyfriend on New Girl last year, Justin Long might just be heading back to television, reports Deadline. NBC, the same network that aired Long's first show, Ed, back in 2000, now has a script commitment with penalty to The Younger Man — a pilot written by Long, his brother Christian, and The Office's Graham Wagner about "a relentlessly optimistic guy in his early 30′s ... who is happily married to the love of his life, a sophisticated woman more than ten years his senior." That young man, ideally Justin Long, and his older wife "must endure his mother’s scorn and sideways glances from their community ... while raising their teenage son." Taking advantage of Justin Long's youthful looks? Sure. His love for a classic rom-com? Naturally.
