Every once in a while, a Vulture party reporter is also a fangirl. And that’s okay. If you stay professional, the stars will usually understand, and maybe even play along. Scott Foley was totally gracious last night, for example, when this reporter began a statement with “A lot of us NYU girls —” “Oh God, NYU girls,” he cut in. “You went because of Felicity.” Maybe? Kind of? Sort of? Can you help us come to terms with the fact that we never met our Noel? “Wow, there’s so many ways to go with that,” he counseled. “I don’t even know how to — I feel guilty, yet I feel like telling you that Noel’s … fake. I know, it sucks hearing that. I don’t know how to explain it any better than that. Although, I love Noel. I miss Noel. Such a sweetheart, such a good guy.” Scott Foley: kind and patient man. (P.S. He was there at Saks Fifth Avenue to promote Scandal, which premieres its third season tonight on ABC!)
