Every few years, those “creatively” groomed poodles seem to make the rounds on the Internet — you know, the dog shaved and painted to look like a Ninja Turtle, etc. Last night, Jimmy Kimmel decided to get in on the trend by featuring dogs painted with leopard print, trimmed and dyed to look like Sesame Street characters, and, maybe most impressive, groomed to look like The Simpsons. On the one hand, hey, weird dog grooming is certainly not hurting anyone (especially not the dogs; it’s all very safe), and don’t hide your light under a bushel. But on the other hand, there’s something very unsettling about the finished product.
