Tomorrow night, Bruce Willis will host SNL for the first time since 1989. A lot has changed in the world since then: The Soviet Union is no more, we've elected a black president, and Bruce Willis is no longer a major musical star. That part of his past is rarely discussed today, but there was a stretch of time in the late eighties when Willis was that rare triple threat: beloved TV star, big-ticket movie star, and serious recording artist. Top that, Clooney! To prepare you in case Willis busts out his harmonica tomorrow night, Vulture put together this video retrospective of the actor's musical moments — an aspect of his career that Willis himself parodied in his first SNL appearance.
