The message of “Work Bitch,” the first single from Britney Spears’ untitled eighth studio album, is pretty universal, but the video reminds us that for Britney, “work” doesn’t mean showing up to the office on time and occasionally hitting the treadmill. If Britney wants to “live fancy,” she must master the art of applying makeup in the desert, literally whip dancers into shape, and writhe around on a platform in the center of a shark-infested pool. She’s doing a pretty good job. While the choreography isn’t quite “I’m a Slave 4 U”-level, this is the most she’s resembled classic Britney in quite a few years.
