Zooey Deschanel’s Hello Giggles Sells Its First Movie, Screenplay by ‘Girls’ Writer Sarah Heyward

Zooey Deschanel’s production company Hello Giggles, which she formed with Rivka Rossi off of their website of the same name, is getting into movies. Deadline reports that Hello Giggles has sold its first movie to a studio. Called Sister-In-Law, it’s written by Sarah Heyward, who’s been a writer on HBO’s Girls since it began. The story follows a woman meeting her boyfriend’s family and struggling to get along with her weird sister-in-law. Hello Giggles recently sold two shows to NBC, but this is their first movie venture.
