Today marks the debut of Bret Easton Ellis's eponymous podcast (in case you prefer your Gravity spoilers in audio form), and his first guest is none other than Kanye West. 'Ye and Ellis are still working together on a top-secret film project, so the podcast is mostly about films: 12 Years a Slave, Flight, There Will Be Blood, and all the movies they watched as kids. (Kanye: "I think the movie I've probably seen most in my life is Menace II Society.") This being a Kanye conversation, there is also some discussion of his creative vision and his frustration with the fashion community. (Kanye: "I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he's trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this shit product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling shit product.") Bonus fact: Kanye and Kim watched the Breaking Bad finale to feel more normal. You can listen to the podcast here; part two is out next week.
