The team behind the greatest show in the history of television has certainly been keeping busy since Lonely Boy was revealed to be Gossip “Girl.” Now, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are moving up to the big screen. Deadline reports they’ll write and produce a Monster High movie for Universal. If you’re unfamiliar, Mattel’s 3-year-old doll franchise is made up of “imperfect teen children of the world’s most famous monsters” (think Frankenstein and the Wolfman as Bratz) – which actually doesn’t sound all that different from the halls of Constance Billard. Brand creators Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will work alongside Schwartz and Savage and we can only hope one of those little monsters adopts Queen B’s way with headbands.
