Last week, Jimmy Fallon let Harrison Ford pierce his ear. Fallon appeared to be in legitimate pain — and we may not have seen the worst of it. According to Questlove, who spoke to us at GQ’s Men of the Year Dinner at Carbone last night, the show’s editors cut the segment down quite a bit. “They did a lot of editing,” he told us. “That segment that you saw was like seven minutes. The real segment was like sixteen minutes, and there was blood. I haven’t seen that much blood from Jimmy since when him and Chelsea Handler had a martini glass race, and Jimmy fell on his martini glass and sliced his wrist.” The producers wanted Ford to pierce Questlove’s ear, too, but the Late Night drummer passed. “When I found out he’d never done it before in his life, I was like, Aaahhh, no.” For more cocktail-hour quotes, click through our slideshow.
