In a somewhat spooky PR move, the BBC sent a hearse filled with flowers spelling out Sherlock’s third-season premiere date driving around London on Friday. (The public already knew that the first episode is titled “The Empty Hearse.”) The show will return to the U.K. on January 1, 2014. (Americans will have to wait until January 19 to watch it on PBS.) Hopefully, the British will be alert enough after their New Year’s revelry to watch and report back.
