Alejandro González Iñarrítu in Talks for Live-Action Jungle Book

Guys, we have a real Toby (meaning very similar movies, getting developed at the same time) on our hands. A month ago, we learned that Disney signed Jon Favreau up to direct a live-action version of The Jungle Book, and now Deadline reports that 21 Grams director Alejandro González Iñarrítu is in early talks to adapt the Rudyard Kipling novel for Warner Bros. Not sure if two Jungle Book movies would be considered the bare necessities or mother nature's recipes, but at least your kids will shut up for three hours and you can forget about your worries and your strife.
