Despite fashion’s message that nail art is dead, Rashida Jones and her writing and producing partner, Will McCormack, just sold a “midnight-dark workplace dramedy-noir about a nail salon in Florida and the strange, dangerous women who work there” to HBO. Claws is the third show the pair behind Celeste and Jesse Forever’s sweet and sad writing have sold through Le Train Train this year. Even better, Deadline reports that The Big Gay Sketch Show’s Eliot Laurence is also on board to write and co-executive produce.
