ABC has picked up its sixth comedy pilot this season, a half-hour show from The Game’s Kenya Barris called Black-ish. The semi-autobiographical work will follow an “upper-middle class black man who struggles to raise his children with a sense of cultural identity despite constant contradictions and obstacles coming from his liberal wife, old-school father, and his own assimilated, color-blind kids,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. It stars Anthony Anderson, who’s apparently on quite a hot streak. The one-time Guys with Kids cast member has already taped a game show called Wall of Fame for NBC, so come fall you may be able to see him on two different networks.
