Casey Wilson has been cast in a new NBC pilot that will see her collaborating with Happy Endings creator David Caspe once again. THR reports that Wilson has been cast as one of the leads in Caspe’s comedy pilot, Marry Me, which will be in contention for the 2014-15 TV season. Marry Me follows a couple, Annie and Jake, who get engaged but realized getting married is harder than it looks. Wilson will playing Annie, described as “pretty and emotional.” The role of Jake, described as “cute and logical” has yet to be cast. Seth Gordon (Identity Thief, Horribles Bosses) is signed on to direct the pilot.

Marry Me will be the first time Casey Wilson and David Caspe, who are engaged to each other in real life, have worked together since ABC canceled Happy Endings after three seasons in May. Wilson has sold two shows to the networks for the upcoming season that she’ll write with comedy partner June Diane Raphael but not star in. The first, DINKS, is set up at ABC and is awaiting a pilot commitment, while the other one, The Mason Twins, has received a pilot order and will star Raphael.
