Here Are Two Clips from Jerry Lewis’s ‘The Day the Clown Cried’

Back in August, a YouTube user uploaded some rare behind-the-scenes footage from Jerry Lewis’s unreleased 1972 film The Day the Clown Cried in which he stars as a clown in a concentration camp, and the same user posted two more clips on New Year’s Day. “You will never see it, no one will ever see it, because I am embarrassed at the poor work,” Lewis said of the film at Cannes last year, so these clips are probably the closest we’ll get to seeing this infamous film in its entirety.
