After Paul Walker's death last month, there was a question over what they'd do about Fast & Furious 7, which was in the middle of production. Soon after, it was announced that production would be put on hold indefinitely, as the previously planned July 11 release date would be impossible to hit. We knew that writer Chris Morgan was working on revising the script and now The Hollywood Reporter writes that they've decided that Walker's Brian O'Conner character will be "retired," not killed off. The script was altered so O'Conner could remain part of the story, but also be written out of the series. The film is now set for an April 10, 2015 release.
