As Todd on Breaking Bad, Jesse Plemons spent most of his character arc camped out on the dark side, but a change may be coming: TheWrap is reporting that Plemons could be cast as one of the two leads in Star Wars: Episode VII, the latest wrinkle in a nearly yearlong casting saga. The site claims that Plemons is considered a “favorite” for the role after his taped audition, though he won’t read for director J.J. Abrams until next week, which is, y’know, a pretty important part of this whole process. Still, good on Landry! After Friday Night Lights and Breaking Bad, Plemons sure knows his way around a property with ardent superfans.
