CBS has ordered another spin-off of CSI, the network confirmed today, this time focusing on cybercrime. Think CSI: The Internet. The show, "inspired by [its producer's] work as a CyberPsychologist," according to CBS, follows a special agent in the FBI's cybercrime division. This agent is "tasked to solve high octane crimes that start in the mind, live on-line, and play out into the real world." It seems very likely that this show will include many scenes with furious typing sounds, our hero's face lit only by the glow of a computer screen, and then the breathless, triumphant declaration of "I'm in!" Truly this is how all internet crime begins and ends.
