True Detective director Cary Fukunaga is flying pretty high these days, thanks to the show's popular and critical success. And even though he's not directing season two, there's plenty more Fukunaga to look forward to: His child-soldier movie with Idris Elba, a two-part adaptation of It, a musical he's been working on since 2009. He's a busy guy! But not too busy to send texts, and not too busy to send things that are fancier and superior to that. "I have a bunch of GIFs of Cary Grant in my phone that I send people instead of texts," Fukunaga tells the Daily Beast. "I feel like an image says so much more." What Cary Grant GIF goes with "10 mins late"? Maybe this one?
