Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz have been cast to star in Lobster, the English-language debut of Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos, whose Dogtooth was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2009. Farrell and Weisz will star alongside a cast that includes Ben Whishaw, Léa Seydoux, Olivia Colman, Ariane Labed, and Angeliki Papoulia. Lobster is described as a love story set in the dystopian future, where finding a mate is a matter of life and death. The film begins shooting in Ireland on March 24. They should be recovered from St. Patrick’s Day by then.
