HAIM Does a Choreographed Dance in the Video for ‘If I Could Change Your Mind’

HAIM hired famed choreographer Fatima Robinson (“As Long As You Love Me,” “Are You That Somebody?”) to teach them some dance moves for their “If I Could Change Your Mind” video. (If you had the resources, wouldn’t you?) They’re slightly less awkward than Save the Last Dance’s pre—Sean Patrick Thomas Julia Stiles and sightly more awkward than Save the Last Dance’s post—Sean Patrick Thomas Julia Stiles (Robinson choreographed that movie, too!) but it’s an endearing awkwardness. And isn’t choreographed dance a rite of passage for any sister trio?

The girls covered Beyoncé’s “XO” at the BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge yesterday — which happens to also be a rite of passage these days.
