The Hollywood Reporter writes that Julianne Moore and Zach Galifianakis have signed on to star in Freeheld. They are joining Ellen Page, who actually signed onto the project almost four years ago. Based on the 2007 Oscar-winning documentary short of the same name, Freeheld tells the story of a New Jersey police officer (Moore) who becomes terminally ill, but the government won’t let her give her pension benefits to her partner (Page). Galifianakis will play an activist; with their matching hair, though, it would be nice if he one day played Moore’s brother.
