In a press release today, HBO confirmed that John Oliver’s new talk show, titled Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, is set to debut on Sunday, April 27th at 11:00PM, which will be the show’s regular weekly time slot. Oliver snagged Daily Show head writer Tim Carvell back in December, and James Taylor (John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show) and Jon Thoday (Workaholics, Adam Devine’s House Party) will also serve as executive producers.
