The team behind 50/50 are reuniting to make a Christmas comedy. According to THR, Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are attached to star in an Untitled Xmas Comedy written and directed by Jonathan Levine, who helmed 50/50 as well as The Wackness and 2013 zom-rom-com Warm Bodies. The film will center on “three childhood best friends who reunite in New York City for their annual tradition of going out on Christmas Eve.” Rogen and Gordon-Levitt will play two of the friends; the third lead role has yet to be cast.

This Christmas comedy is just the latest of Seth Rogen’s many recent projects. Last week it was announced he’d be adapting the 90s comic Preacher for television with Evan Goldberg, and at the end of February it was announced that Rogen was making an animated sausage movie with a voice cast that includes James Franco, Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, Nick Kroll, and Kristen Wiig.
