Over on his website, Extension 765, director Steven Soderbergh intermittently posts things like lists of all the books and TV and movies he saw in any given year, or appreciations of underrated James Bond movies like On Her Majesty's Secret Service. (He's right. It's great. Also, great theme music.) Today, he has posted a full-length mash-up of Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 Psycho and Gus Van Sant's 1998 Psycho, which the director infamously remade almost shot for shot. He converted Van Sant's version to black-and-white, and the only color that appears is during the shower scene. The full video is not embeddable, but you can watch it in its entirety over at Soderbergh's site. (Watch a clip below.)
