Warner Bros. Acquires Movie Rights to Minecraft


Following hot on The Lego Movie's knobby little heels, Warner Bros. has purchased the rights to make a Minecraft movie. In fact, Lego Movie producer Roy Lee is even working on it. In case you're unfamiliar with the wildly popular Swedish open world game, Minecraft allows players to interact in a virtual world where they can build different structures with 3-D blocks. It's sort of like … jeez, what else lets people build with blocks? Ugh, this is going to bother us all night.
