Yes, that General McChrystal — the former commanding general of international and U.S. forces in Afghanistan, who was fired in 2010 after some controversial remarks in a Rolling Stone profile by the late Michael Hastings. That incident is getting a movie, and Brad Pitt will produce; he’s also likely to star as McChrystal. David Michod will direct and adapt (from The Operators, Hastings’s book about the general). Okay, sounds great; now when do we get a Petraeus movie?
