The Wrap is reporting that Chelsea Handler is currently talking to CBS about late-night opportunities. According to the report, CBS first contacted her about the idea of doing a syndicated show, which then shifted to talks about CBS’s 12:30 a.m. slot. However, since David Letterman announced his retirement last week, her focus is now on trying to get The Late Show. These talks are still early, not to mention the reports that came out that Stephen Colbert is CBS’s front-runner. Either way, CBS is obviously talking to people and Craig Ferguson is probably pretty pissed.
