Sandra Bullock may star as pioneering saleswoman Brownie Wise in a film chronicling the rise of Tupperware, written and directed by The Help’s Tate Taylor, according to THR. While Wise didn’t invent the resealable plastic containers, she came up with the idea for the Tupperware parties that put them on the map during the 1950s. Bullock has yet to sign on, but if she does it will mark the first new project since her Oscar-nominated turn in Gravity. It’s only logical that she would follow up the high-stakes, sensory thrill ride of Gravity with a project that shares the same fundamental theme: the importance of an airtight seal.
